After all this other boost, I finally done did it! I finally got some UBs, and to keep it on the safe side, I chose the Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Core Black.
These have been at the pinnacle of “comfiest shoe ever” hype for a couple of years, and I finally have succumbed to the madness.
It’s a black and white sneaker ya’ll. You could wear a plastic trash bag with these and it would still work! In all seriousness though, a blacked out fit is a sharp look, but you could also pull these off with some lighter denim and a black or grey top. There are a lot of possibilities with a sneaker like this! You could almost form your fit independently from the shoes and then just throw these on.
THESE LIVE UP TO THE HYPE. Period point blank end of story. They’re a bit of a splurge though, but you get what you pay for with these. The price probably will keep me from going hard on copping these but I could easily see grabbing another pair or two eventually. This shoe was/is a game changer and I finally get it now!
How Are The Materials?
The materials are nice on these! You basically have a primeknit upper and the knit is stretchy yet thick and durable. These also sport a rubbery plastic “cage” 3 stripes on the side and plastic pieces towards the lower rear. All in all, the shoe has a luxury feel to it, even though the construction is fairly simple and straightforward. All in all though, I definitely feel the quality radiating from this shoe!
How Do They Fit?
These Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Core Black fit great at a half size down from my Nike size, which I feel is now my true “Adidas size”. The comfort is of course insane. I find them to have a bit more stability than the I-5923, more similar to the ZX 500 RM from yesterday. The boost midsole really just does the trick and the continental outsole provides great traction.
